Queen Elizabeth National Park

Renowned for its incredible biodiversity, Queen Elizabeth NP spans savannah, wetlands, rainforest and crater lakes, offering varied habitats in a single park. Visitors can track the famous tree-climbing lions of Ishasha, cruise the Kazinga Channel at dawn to see hippos, buffalo and an array of waterbirds, then explore the lush Kyambura Gorge to glimpse habituated chimpanzees. Community-led cultural excursions into local fishing villages and salt-mining sites add a human dimension to this wildlife haven.
